1. Do I trust the company? Make sure you select a company that you can trust. This is the company that will follow through with your purchase and deliver your Holiday gift on time. The website should be professional in appearance and have customer testimonials if they are doing a good job.
2. What is included with my Holiday Teddy Bear gift? Watch out for companies that merely group their day-to-day teddy bears into one category and call it their Holiday Gifts. Look for a company that truly sells a complete package ( bow, ribbon, card, gift wrap ).
3. Say it with a card, not a packing slip. Verify the company prints your heart-felt message on a greeting card, not on the packing slip included with the order. This is very common. Keep in mind that packing slips can easily be overlooked, leaving the recipient uninformed as to who sent him/her this wonderful gift.
4. Timing is everything. Look for a company that offers 'Delayed Shipping' so your Christmas gift doesn't arrive on Thanksgiving. Again, this falls back to trusting the company.
5. Is the price right? Expect to spend anywhere from $20 - $40 for quality Holiday teddy bears. Remember that you get what you pay for. If it costs $5 then it is probably worth $5.
